Job summary

CAE Inc. in Riyadh seeks a Project Accountant to own end-to-end project finances across the region. You will partner with Project Managers, participate in project review meetings, and deliver insights on financial performance and risks.

The role emphasizes IFRS compliance and cost control within a defence and security portfolio. You will lead forecasting cycles, support budgeting, manage reconciliations, and contribute to pricing and investment evaluation.

Qualifications

University degree in accounting or finance; recognised accounting qualification preferred.
5 years of financial analysis experience, including reporting and performance analysis.
Experience reconciling intercompany balances and transactions; IFRS knowledge.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; IFRS 15 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly forecasting for P&L and Balance Sheet with Project Managers.
Monitor project financial performance and maximize gross margin and cash flow.
Own cost accounting and coordinate with cost centre owners.
Assist annual budget, monthly management accounts, and statutory accounts.
Prepare reconciliations across ledgers with up-to-date data.
Support business planning, investment risk evaluation, pricing and ECPs.
Build cash-flow scenarios and support project setup and decision-making.
Produce ad hoc forecasts, models, and decision-support analyses.
Ensure IFRS compliance including IFRS 15; coordinate internal and external audits.
