Job summary

Sulzer Ltd in Riyadh is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the technical execution and successful delivery of pumping system projects. You will ensure adherence to specifications, budget, and schedule while coordinating with suppliers and customers.

The role requires strong English communication, a PMP credential, and 4+ years in Energy & Infrastructure. You will support international projects from the Riyadh site and interact with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Engineering with project management specialization preferred.
• PMP Certification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the Energy & Infrastructure sector or related industries.
• Strong English communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, estimates, and monitor milestones.
• Ensure quality, safety, and contractual compliance throughout execution.
• Coordinate with vendors and track procurement, materials, and site deliveries.
• Lead interdisciplinary coordination to meet schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Coordinate technical meetings with customers and suppliers (HAZOP, P&ID, 3D reviews) and close actions.
• Prepare and issue project documentation including specifications and requisitions; review bids.

About the role

Job Summary The Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical execution and successful delivery of pumping system projects ensuring adherence to specifications budget and schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans schedules estimates and monitoring progress against milestones
• Ensure compliance with quality safety and contractual requirements throughout project execution
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers while tracking deliverables procurement activities and material deliveries to site
• Manage interdisciplinary coordination to achieve project objectives within schedule budget and required quality standards
• Promote and coordinate the resolution of technical issues and provide recommendations to Project Management
• Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers including HAZOP P amp ID and 3D Model Reviews ensuring timely closure of actions
• Coordinate the preparation and issuance of project documentation including specifications plans requisitions and other discipline deliverables
• Review bid requisitions technical evaluations tabulations and recommendations for equipment and material awards
• Identify control and monitor project changes ensuring proper processing of potential change orders and project impacts
• Support Production activities manage day-to-day interfaces with internal and external stakeholders conduct weekly project reviews and promote effective project management practices
