Job description

We are looking for a competent Project Coordinator to support project execution through effective coordination, cost control, planning, and client communication, ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual, financial, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clients on all financial-related matters, including preparation, submission, and follow-up of progress payments, MIRs, and WIRs, ensuring timely approvals.
  • Perform quantity take-offs (QS) for projects and reconcile quantities with the technical office, factory, and site to ensure alignment with the approved scope of work.
  • Prepare project progress invoices in accordance with contract terms, approved payment milestones, and the authorized project schedule.
  • Plan and coordinate with Tenders, Human Resources, and Finance Departments to align project schedules with manpower planning, cash flow requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring expenditures remain within the approved budget and promptly reporting any cost deviations or risks.
  • Analyze project data (financial, schedule, and performance data) and prepare analytical reports to support management decision-making.
  • Review project contracts from technical, financial, and legal perspectives, identify potential risks or gaps, and submit observations and recommendations to management.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • PMP certification is required or highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management or Project Coordination, preferably in engineering or construction environments.
  • Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools, particularly Primavera P6.
  • Strong experience with cost control tools and techniques, including budgeting and cost variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies and their application in project environments.
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
