The role involves managing client relationships, overseeing project controls, and ensuring effective contract administration. Responsibilities

Overview

Title: Project Control/Cost Manager

Job Summary: The Business Manager/ Project Control Manager supports the Program Director in proactive Client engagement, maintaining vigilance and sensitivity to client perceptions throughout the life of the program.

Responsibilities
  • Interacts with client counterparts regularly with the intent to discover, assess and address relationship concerns early and decisively.
  • Discusses with the client how to mitigate issues and concerns.
  • Contract Administration including the management of all WERs and PAFs.
  • Procurement and Subcontract Support services.
  • Project Controls, Cost and Planning.
  • Preparation and submission of all weekly and monthly project controls documentation as required by the contract.
  • Coordination with Finance for Invoicing.
  • Proposal Preparation.
  • Training and Development.
  • IT & Design Systems.
  • Document Control Administration.
  • SAPMT Seconded personnel.
Qualifications
  • A background in Project Control is essential.
  • Experience in offshore industry or similar industry on mega projects, has a relevant degree for respective engineering discipline.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of engineering.
  • Must be cost conscious and a good understanding of the fundamentals of planning.
  • Essentially skills people management, conflict resolution and excellent communication skills.
