Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a seasoned Production Engineer for their client in the Petrochemical industry located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 15 years of experience specifically in the Polystyrene field. Responsibilities include optimizing process parameters, preparing production reports, and ensuring operational quality. An excellent command of HSE regulations and strong interpersonal skills are required. Competitive compensation package offered, including allowances.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years in the Polystyrene field (EPS, HIPS, and GPPS).
  • Sound understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Strong command of written & spoken English.

We are currently hiring for the following position with our reputed client in the Petrochemical Industry (PK South Division):

Position Details

Position: Production Engineer
Department: PPS Operation
Location: PK South - KSA

Salary Mentioned is Basic + Transportation Allowance + Housing Allowance

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and audit materials & energy balances to identify process efficiency, yields, and losses

  • Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly production reports

  • Complete monthly SAP closing and handle all related SAP transactions (Purchase Requisition, PO, GR, and Service Entry Sheet)

  • Ensure plant operation within design limits and maintain product quality as per specifications

  • Optimize process parameters to achieve plant KPIs

  • Participate in technical and feasibility studies for plant projects

  • Coordinate with support departments to resolve bottlenecks and improve performance

  • Monitor sustainability parameters, provide technical solutions, and prepare sustainability reports

  • Review technical/change/vendor reports and support implementation of improvements

  • Support EHSS/Quality teams in investigation and reporting

Qualification & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in the Polystyrene field (EPS, HIPS, and GPPS)
