About the Role

Reef Holding is seeking a Commercial Procurement Unit Supervisor to oversee the execution of commercial procurement operations and ensure full compliance with approved policies and procedures. The supervisor will be responsible for monitoring supplier performance and leading the procurement team to achieve operational efficiency and secure the best possible commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily communication and correspondence with international and local suppliers.
  • Coordinate and follow up on procurement operations within the approved budget and company system.
  • Review and approve purchase orders prior to issuance and send them to suppliers.
  • Monitor suppliers’ payment schedules (advance payments and post-delivery payments).
  • Ensure all procurement operations are executed according to company policies and procedures.
  • Anticipate changes in suppliers’ and customers’ negotiation leverage and act accordingly.
  • Review and evaluate current and future contracts.
  • Expedite and follow up regularly on shipment status to ensure suppliers meet delivery commitments.
  • Register products with relevant authorities (such as SFDA and others) when required.
  • Coordinate and follow up on shipping and import-related documents (such as Bill of Lading, supplier invoice, packing list, Certificate of Conformity, Certificate of Origin) with logistics and customs clearance personnel.
  • Track and report key procurement functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
  • Recommend improvements to international procurement policies and oversee implementation of related procedures and controls.
  • Ensure full compliance with procedural requirements while delivering high-quality, cost-effective results.
  • Contribute to identifying continuous improvement opportunities for systems, processes, and practices to reduce costs and improve productivity.
  • Assign tasks to team members and supervise their execution.
  • Evaluate team members’ performance based on established KPIs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial procurement, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
