Job summary

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company seeks a Principal Process Safety Engineer to lead the process safety program across design, construction and operations in Neom. The role requires deep expertise in hydrogen and ammonia safety, HAZOP/LOPA/QRA, and technical authority for safety systems.

You will train staff, manage change, and collaborate with contractors to ensure safety excellence. Based in Neom, you will own the Safety Management System, integrate with project teams, and drive continuous safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with experience in Process and Process Safety Engineering.
• Experience in hydrogen and ammonia safety chemistry and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives for design, construction and operational phases.
• Serve as Technical Authority for Technical Safety and MOC oversight.
• Develop and maintain process safety standards, procedures and training.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and NGHC operations.
