Job Description
  • Carry out the inspection as per the contractual requirement.
  • Perform “Hold”, “Witness” and “Surveillance” inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
  • Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage and protection at ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
  • Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
  • Review and evaluate the Contractor’s Quality document submittals.
  • Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with ARAMCO standards.
  • Record legibly and accurately all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
  • Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
  • Work safely during inspection activities and to advise others to work safely.
  • Maintain the confidentiality requirements in each activity during the service period.
  • Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Statement of Integrity.
Qualifications
  • BSc degree in Engineering in a respective inspection discipline with at least four (4) years of experience in the relevant inspection discipline. OR two (2) years of industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable international standards (Uniform Plumbing Code, AWWA C-950, NFPA 13, etc.,)
  • Full working knowledge of quality system standards and methods.
  • Awareness of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Should have training for inspecting Plumbing systems in the building.
  • CBT pass in PID-Plumbing Inspector is preferable.
