Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree and recognised Early Years teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Arabic in Early Years, particularly language and literacy development.
• Excellent spoken and written Arabic, with intermediate English proficiency.
• Ability to deliver engaging, play-based learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Expertise in Arabic phonics, vocabulary, early reading and writing.
• Ability to assess learning needs and provide targeted literacy interventions.
• Experience supporting diverse learning abilities and language backgrounds.
• Strong communication, collaboration, parent engagement and safeguarding awareness.
• Understand safeguarding responsibilities, professional boundaries and confidentiality, and report concerns promptly through school procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run play-based Arabic language and literacy activities in Early Years.
• Provide targeted Arabic phonics and early literacy interventions for individuals.
• Assess learning needs and develop tailored literacy plans.
• Support diverse learners and language backgrounds in the classroom.
• Engage with parents and collaborate with colleagues to support student progress.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and school procedures.
