Job summary

Plant Labelling Officer at Eram Talent supports accurate identification, labeling, and mapping of living plant collections within a Botanic Garden. You will maintain labels, records, databases, and visitor-facing information, collaborating with botanists, horticulturists, curators and other specialists to ensure data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in horticulture or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of taxonomy, nomenclature, and plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Botany, Plant Sciences, Plant Taxonomy or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in horticulture, botanical collections, or related technical capacity-building.
• Strong knowledge of plant identification, taxonomy, nomenclature, and classification.

Responsibilities

• Create, install, inspect, update, and maintain plant labels across indoor and outdoor collections.
• Verify botanical nomenclature and taxonomy using recognised botanical references.
• Maintain plant-record databases, mapping systems, and collection-management platforms.
• Translate technical botanical information into clear visitor-facing content.
