Qualifications

  • Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning for Carbon Steel & Polyethylene pipelines.
  • Knowledge of piping technical specifications and the welding process.
  • Ability to manage construction teams and carry out testing processes.

Position: Piping Construction Engineer

Job Overview:

As a Piping Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of piping systems for our various energy projects. You will ensure that all piping work is completed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and review piping construction plans and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of piping projects
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify any potential issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and construction teams, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols
  • Review and approve material and equipment specifications, ensuring compliance with project standards and budget
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, quality records, and change orders
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and support to project teams
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for piping construction activities
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries on-site
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and construction staff as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5 -7 years of experience in piping construction, preferably in the energy industry
  • Can Carry out Installation, Testing & Commissioning for Carbon Steel & Polyethylene Pipelines.
  • Prepare relative BOQ.
  • Fully aware of Piping Technical Specifications.
  • Fully aware of the welding process (WPS/PQR).
  • Able to understand Plan & Isometric drawings.
  • Can manage construction team.
  • Know well about the testing process & can manage the testing team.
  • Have good Knowledge about cathodic protection.
