Job summary

AMAD Hospital is seeking a Physiotherapy Trainee to assist and learn within the physiotherapy team, supporting patient assessments, treatment implementation, and care delivery under supervision. This role focuses on developing hands-on clinical skills and professional growth in a hospital setting.

You will help prepare treatment spaces, monitor patient progress, and assist with documentation while adhering to safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Valid classification/registration from the relevant healthcare authority is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physiotherapists in evaluating patient physical conditions and treatment needs.
• Support in implementing prescribed physiotherapy treatment plans and rehabilitation exercises.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and therapy materials before patient sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising physiotherapist.
• Educate patients on exercise techniques, mobility support, and recovery practices under supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety procedures, and infection control standards.
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and continuous learning activities.
• Support administrative and operational tasks within the physiotherapy department when required.
