Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or related subject; postgraduate education qualification desirable.
• Experience teaching Physics at secondary level with proven outcomes.
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence with practical laboratory work and safe lab practices.
• Excellent classroom management and ability to plan and differentiate learning.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages advantageous.

Duties

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons across the appropriate age range and ability levels ensuring learning objectives are clear and measurable
• Develop and adapt schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the school curriculum assessment policies and examination requirements
• Use a variety of teaching strategies resources and laboratory activities to stimulate interest and deepen students understanding of key concepts
• Set and mark assessments provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners including extension and intervention where required
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour to create a productive learning environment
• Ensure laboratory safety and oversee practical experiment procedures in accordance with school safety guidelines
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects contribute to departmental meetings and support whole-school initiatives
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress behaviour and development
• Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the mentoring of less-experienced staff where appropriate Good IT skills and experience integrating educational technology into teaching and assessment
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and a reflective approach to teaching practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Physics or a related subject; a postgraduate qualification in Education or a recognised teaching qualification is desirable.
• Previous experience teaching Physics at secondary level, with proven ability to achieve strong student outcomes.
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering practical laboratory work and demonstrable experience of safe laboratory practice.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to plan and differentiate learning effectively.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
