Job summary

A leading organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Performance Manager to lead the design and implementation of a performance management framework. The role will involve defining KPIs, developing performance reports, and ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and individual performance. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in strategy execution, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and fluency in English. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferable.

Job description

Master works is hiring a Performance Manager who will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of the organization’s performance management framework, ensuring alignment between corporate strategy, departmental objectives, and individual performance. The role ensures that performance is measured, monitored, and improved continuously through data-driven insights and effective collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Performance Framework & Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Performance Management Framework (PMF) aligned with organizational strategy. Manage the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and ensure all objectives, KPI s, and targets are strategically aligned. Establish and oversee performance governance cycles, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews. Define and communicate performance policies, procedures, and standards across all departments. Support the integration of KPIs into systems and ensure alignment with ERP, HR, and Data Warehouse platforms.
  • KPI Development & Management: Facilitate the definition and validation of KPIs at corporate, departmental, and individual levels. Maintain a centralized KPI library with definitions, data sources, and owners. Ensure KPIs are SMART, relevant, and measurable, with clear baselines and targets. Validate KPI data and perform variance analysis to highlight trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Reporting & Insights: Develop and manage performance dashboards and regular reports for leadership and executive committees. Present analytical insights to support evidence-based decision-making. Coordinate the Strategy Execution Report and track progress of strategic objectives and initiatives. Work closely with the Data Warehouse and BI teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Departmental & Individual Alignment: Guide departments in cascading strategic objectives and KPIs down to team and employee levels. Ensure consistent understanding and ownership of performance measures across the organization. Support HR in aligning individual performance management with strategic KPIs and behavioral competencies.
  • Continuous Improvement & Capability Building: Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions or process improvements. Lead workshops and awareness sessions to build performance management capability across departments. Support leadership in embedding a performance-driven culture focused on accountability and result.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience working with strategy execution frameworks (e.g., OKRs, KPIs, BSC).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in public sector or technology sectors is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (Native Arabic speaker is a must).
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in strategy execution, management consulting, transformation, or Strategy PMO roles.
