Job summary

Diaverum Saudi Arabia is seeking a Patient Assistant to warmly receive patients at the clinic and support their non-medical needs during treatment sessions. You will be the first and last face patients see, reporting to the Head Nurse and collaborating with the clinic team.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, orderly operations, and adherence to Diaverum standards. Arabic is required; English is a plus; no prior experience is necessary at entry level.

Qualifications

• Arabic language is required.
• English is desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in infection control in a clinical setting is stated as a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Receive patients at the clinic entrance and escort them to the treatment area.
• Provide a welcoming and respectful attitude to patients and their families at all times.
• Manage accompanying family members to maintain a safe and clinical environment.
• Assist patients with their needs and distribute meals as per the schedule.
• Support patients with medication delivery and documentation requirements.
• Keep clinic equipment and assets like wheelchairs in good working condition.
• Support daily delivery of consumables from warehouse to treatment area.
