Wild&Org is looking to hire a Pastry Chef for their upcoming cafe in Jeddah.

Who you are:

Wild&Org is seeking an innovative and passionate Pastry Chef CDP (chef de partie) for our healthy Grab&Go café. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, improving, and continuously developing delicious and nutritious menu items that cater to our customers' fast-paced lifestyles.

As the Pastry CDP at Wild&Org, you will collaborate closely with our Executive Chef to guarantee top-notch quality and standards in our fast-paced kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all preparation kitchen requirements of baking are met and supervising the seamless execution of our health-focused menus.

In this leadership role, you will actively manage and develop kitchen staff members. As the person responsible for maintaining back-of-house (BOH) team accountability, you will provide consistent feedback and support career growth through regular performance evaluations and goal-setting.

What you'll do:
  • Prepare and bake a range of healthy items including breads, muffins, cookies, energy bars, and seasonal specials.
  • Follow and develop recipes that align with our healthy, plant-based, and/or allergen-friendly menu philosophy (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, refined sugar-free, etc.).
  • Accurately measure, mix, and prepare batters and doughs using healthy, whole-food ingredients.
  • Maintain consistency in portion sizes, appearance (presentation, and quality.
  • Ensure all products are labeled and stored properly with attention to freshness and food safety.
  • Clean and maintain baking tools, equipment, and kitchen workspaces in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Track inventory of baking ingredients and communicate with management to restock as needed.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to support daily operations and seasonal menu updates.
What we need from you:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry CDP, preferably in a health-focused or organic food environment.
  • Knowledge of baking techniques with a focus on clean ingredients and dietary restrictions.
  • Familiarity with allergen-friendly baking and alternative ingredients (e.g., almond flour, flax eggs, coconut sugar, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and maintain reliable attendance.
  • Commitment to sustainability and organic food principles.
  • Food Handler’s Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
