Job summary

BUPA Arabia in Riyadh is seeking a part-time hematologist to provide in-person hematology care at the ICC clinic. The role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a broad range of blood and blood-forming disorders during scheduled part-time sessions.

You will work with the full-time clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care, documentation in the EHR, and delivery of safe, high-quality hematology services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, in-person hematology care during scheduled part-time clinic sessions, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up of acute and chronic hematological conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including history taking, physical examination, and review of relevant laboratory findings during each in-clinic visit.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based management plans, including medication management, anticoagulation monitoring, and referrals for procedures or imaging when indicated.
• Manage common hematology conditions such as iron deficiency anemia, coagulation disorders, thrombophilia, and venous thromboembolism, ensuring continuity with the full-time team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care within part-time attendance.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR to support seamless handover and continuity of care.
• Promote hematologic health through preventive counseling, timely referrals, chronic disease management, and population health principles within part-time clinic hours.
