Job summary

Foodics, a leading restaurant management ecosystem, seeks an Operations/Accounts Officer to manage bank relationships and regulatory compliance in Riyadh. You will own merchant onboarding, terminal management, and SLA-driven reporting, coordinating with POS vendors and finance teams.

The role requires 1–2 years in similar roles, knowledge of SAMA rules, and strong Excel/Microsoft tool skills. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred for cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, business, economics, law or related field.
• 1–2 years experience as Operations/Accounts Officer or similar.
• Acquiring banking knowledge and SAMA regulatory framework is essential.
• Strong knowledge of KSA regulatory compliance in financial services.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
• Understand bank operations and regulatory requirements (SAMA, SLA, MADA).
• Own merchant onboarding and terminal management processes within SLA.
• Maintain and report engagement history and merchant credentials.
• Coordinate with POS vendors and ensure accurate settlement and reconciliation.

What Will You Do

• Develop long-term relationships with internal and external customers:
• Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders within the bank and within the internal operations team.
• Understand the inner workings of the bank and identify obstacle.
• Develop an excellent working relationship with all cross-functional team within EPOS.
• Understand the regulations.
• Be knowledgeable on SAMA regulations, SLA’s and MADA branding rules related to POS business.
• Knowledge of settlement and reconciliation.
• Ensure that all activities are within the regulatory defined rules.
• Become an SME for your account:
• Develop a firm understanding of contracts and contractual responsibilities.
• Maintain history of engagement and reports in a well-organized format on PC.
• Line Management:
• Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures.
• Establish and maintain a positive and healthy work atmosphere.
• Maintain office working hours.
• Develop and maintain “Account ownership” culture.
• Perform daily function with integrity and quality.
• Responsible for overall engagements with the bank.
• Responsible for merchant onboarding (administration approval process).
• Responsible for terminal management and merchant profiling.
• Single point of contact of POS vendor and ensure to accomplish installation and maintenance request within SLA.
• Ensure merchant account settlement and reconciliation.
• Ensure VIP customers receive continuous and exceptional service at all times.
• Ensure to arrange daily POS related updates to publish an accurate and clear report for the bank or internal teams.
• Process amendments or changes to the existing merchant credentials.
• Maintain historical merchant information.
• Preparation of SAMA SLA reports with POS vendors and responsible for submission to SAMA.
• Process Chargeback, Claim and dispute request, and coordination to obtain the needed supportive document to the respective bank and ensure closure of cases.
• Maintain & Control stock inventory.
• Ensure to update the billing system for financial billing.
• Validate invoices prior to submission to the banks.
• Highlight discrepancies to finance dept. and ensure corrective action taken.
• Prompt response to emails and establish proper follow up with stakeholders.
• Monitor and control vendor performance and management Reporting.
• Daily Maintenance/Installation report – Data accuracy and frequency maintain as per the bank agreement.
• Preparation of mandate reports (POS SLA/MADA branding/Active- Inactive/Segmentation/ Stock reports).
• Create proper backup to handle the above report in case of absence or vacation.

What Are We Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, or any relevant degree.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an Operations Officer / Accounts Officer.
• Acquiring banking knowledge and SAMA regulatory framework is a must.
• Strong knowledge of KSA regulatory compliance in financial and payment services.
• Knowledgeable in TMS (Terminal Management System – SAMA).
• Expert in Excel and other Microsoft tools.
• Self-driven and hardworking.
• Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral) both in English and Arabic.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
