Job summary

Solutions Valley is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Expert to ensure safe, reliable operation of private distribution and transmission networks. You will support the development and pricing of O&M contracts and service agreements, combining technical power system operations with commercial cost estimation and proposal skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in power system operations, and hands-on experience in pricing O&M contracts, tenders, and asset

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of distribution and transmission systems, substations, and private networks.
• Experience in O&M contract pricing, cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering.
• Analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee operation and maintenance strategies for private networks.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize asset performance.
• Monitor network performance and implement improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare maintenance plans, asset management programs, and operational KPIs.
• Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for O&M contracts.
• Develop cost estimates, manpower plans, budgets, and pricing models for O&M projects.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications, and scope requirements.
• Support business development, bid preparation, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, utility regulations, and contractual obligations.

The Operations & Maintenance Expert is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of private distribution and transmission networks while supporting the development and pricing of O&M contracts and service agreements. The role combines technical expertise in power system operations with commercial capabilities in cost estimation, tendering, and proposal development.
