Job summary

CESCO is seeking an Operations Director to lead the company's technical services, including maintenance, testing, and commissioning. The role focuses on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and growth across MEP projects.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in mechanical or electrical engineering with 15+ years of experience in MEP operations, facilities management, or testing and commissioning in GCC markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 15+ years in MEP operations, facilities management, testing & commissioning.
• Senior operational leadership in MEP contracting, FM, or engineering services.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, ELV, fire protection, and building services.
• Experience managing large-scale projects, multidisciplinary teams, and client-facing operations.
• Strong understanding of Qatar/GCC construction and MEP industry practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational activities, including MEP services, maintenance, testing, and commissioning projects.
• Oversee project execution to ensure timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Manage, mentor, and guide project managers, technical teams, and operational staff to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, HSE standards, and applicable industry regulations.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, resources, and operational risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and operational best practices.
• Support business development activities by providing technical and operational input for new opportunities.

• Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within MEP contracting, FM, or engineering services companies.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, ELV, fire protection, and building services.
• Experience managing large-scale projects, multidisciplinary teams, and client-facing operations.
• Strong understanding of Qatar/GCC construction and MEP industry practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
