Job summary

FieldCore in the MEA region seeks a Region Operations Director I to drive strategic growth, deliver customer value, and lead the regional operating rhythm across multiple contracts and projects.

Responsibilities include standardizing processes, resolving field service issues, and building a high-performance team of Operations Managers. Travel to sites is required; willingness to work holidays and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of combined experience in business administration, operations, field services, engineering, or related fields.
• 6+ years of leadership experience.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Standardize operational processes and meet compliance requirements by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms across all segments, projects and customers.
• Work closely with the Service Director and Service Managers to investigate, analyze, and resolve field service issues and quality in a timely manner.
• Establish working rhythms with FieldCore – Functions, Service Lines, Field Operations, and Resource Operations.
• Drive operational excellence, rigor, and compliance on Fulfillment 5 metrics including Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) / Quality / Cycle / Cost / Productivity.
• Travel required and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.

Job Summary

The Region Operations Director I is responsible for developing and driving strategic growth initiatives. Delivers customer value via key business metrics, optimization of our existing portfolio of contracts, strong leadership over the region operating rhythm, and contributing to the overall business strategy. Services as the single point of contact for aero business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Standardize operational processes and meet compliance requirements by establishing and maintaining operating rhythms across all segments, projects and customers
• Work closely with the Service Director and Service Managers to investigate, analyze, and resolve field service issues and quality in a timely manner
• Establish working rhythms with FieldCore – Functions, Service Lines, Field Operations, and Resource Operations
• Leverage key productivity tools in lean and quality to deliver process excellence
• Drive operational excellence, rigor, and compliance on Fulfillment 5 metrics including, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) / Quality / Cycle / Cost / Productivity
• Monitor EHS Performance pre and post outage working with Site EHS Specialists
• Develop and implement an outage best practice plan
• Support RGM on as needed basis as an extended resource / delegate
• Manage, lead, and develop a team of Operations Managers
• Travel required
• Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
• May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university or college in Operations, Engineering, Management or related field
• 11+ years of combined experience in business administration, operations, field services, engineering, or other related fields
• 6+ years of leadership experience
• English proficiency required

Desired Characteristics

• Master’s degree preferred

• Excellent management, customer service, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated field engineering experience and strong mechanical/technical skills; expert in power generation outage maintenance
• Knowledge of power generation products, services, and installations
• Demonstrated commitment for process improvement

• Interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
