About the job Operation Manager ( Custody Department )

Reporting line: Head of Custody & Operation

Overview

The Operation Manager in the Custody Department is responsible for achieving and developing department responsibilities with limited mistake

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform the account opening process.
  • Handle daily settlement for local and international markets, including equities, futures, overseas equities, futures and options, fixed income, and derivatives products.
  • Cover corporate action process and apply it to our clients.
  • Monitor stock activities, positions, and cash reconciliation.
  • Resolve issues and requests related to clients.
  • Provide support to clients and other departments.
  • Ensure all processing transactions comply with relevant regulators and in-house policies.
  • Liaise with external parties such as banks, Saudi Exchange, Muqassa, and Edaa.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment and enhance the system.
  • Manage cash management, payment processes, and invoices.
  • Handle requests from the Capital Market Authority (CMA) related to clients.
  • Provide other departments with necessary reports.
Skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with multitasking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Familiarity with Edaa settlement process.
  • Familiarity with Fixed Income Products, including bonds, derivatives, and structured products.
  • Experience in using Excel and Access will be an advantage.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree holder.
Work Experience
  • Over 7 years of experience in Brokerage Operations, with a strong investment banking background.
  • Good working and implementation knowledge of Brokerage systems involving e-trading, with ideally prior experience participating in new system development.
