Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Jeddah is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site support for hardware and software issues. The role includes troubleshooting desktops, printers, and LAN/WAN setups, along with excellent customer management skills and communication. Candidates should have at least 1+ year of relevant experience and possess an Associate Degree in Electronics or similar fields. Flexibility in work schedule is a must.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience providing IT Infrastructure field support.
• Experience in technical troubleshooting desktops and peripherals.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN setups.
• Ability to lift/move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Expertise in Windows and MAC/Linux OS.
• Knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Smart hands support for various hardware.
• Deductive reasoning skills for troubleshooting systems.
• Experience with problem management and ticketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT infrastructure support including troubleshooting.
• Install and fix desktops, printers, and laptops.
• Conduct smart hand support for networking hardware.
• Analyze repeat calls and develop action plans.
