Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Medical Scientific Liaison – Oncology for field-based duties in Saudi Arabia. The role centers on building scientific leadership, expanding professional relationships with healthcare professionals, and delivering medical education and clinical support while aligning with the brand strategy.

The MSL will develop deep scientific understanding of AstraZeneca compounds, respond to medical queries, and ensure regulatory and ethical standards are met in patient care.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Hematology/Oncology experience is a plus.
• For CSLs/MSLs: at least one year of experience in the current therapy area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the AstraZeneca updated medical information to HCP’s through various communication methods.
• Plan, conduct, and complete assigned project work with timely progress reports.
• Provide monitoring services for studies and ensure study completion from outline to final report.
• Safeguard patients and AstraZeneca by handling adverse events per standards and regulations.
• Train sales teams and contribute to the development of brand strategy.
• Review product materials and respond to medical queries and pharmacovigilance needs.
