Job summary

International Maritime Industries in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Quality Inspector to oversee structural and architectural fabrication/erection activities offshore. You will verify material identity, welding inspections, dimensional tolerances, and compliance with WPS and specifications.

You will develop method statements, risk assessments, and ensure proper handover of punch lists, witness final acceptance, and maintain QA records, liaising with PSCM and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma in technical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6–9 years’ experience in quality inspection of offshore structures.

Responsibilities

• Verify structural material identity and conformance to installation drawings and specifications.
• Verify fit up and welding inspection and release of joints.
• Ensure dimensional tolerances meet construction specs using EDM, theodolite, and dumpy level.
• Conduct surveillance to verify compliance with specifications, WPS, weld consumables, and qualified welders.
• Develop method statements including risk assessments and ISE/ITP checklists as required.
