Qualifications

Purpose of the position

As Offshore HSE Officer you will be part of the HSEQ department within the Abser-Offshore business line. You will support the HSE team across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with the company, clients, and regulatory requirements.

How can you support us?

• Ensure that Project/Site HSE plans and procedures are properly implemented on site during operations.
• Report to the upper HSE referent on any HSE issues occurred on site.
• Liaise continuously with the workforce and supervision on HSE issues.
• Conduct internal HSE inspections and deliver HSE induction and training, while keeping HSE procedures updated for specific tasks.
• Monitor HSE procedures implementation on operational sites, ensuring compliance with safety risk assessments and effective reporting of HSE performance indicators.

What are we looking for?

Education: Master’s Degree/bachelor’s degree in HSE Professional Certification or relevant.

Background: 5 years as a HSE Officer role in Oil/Gas & Other Industry field, and 1 year in Offshore.

Languages: Must be fluent in English.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, Incident Investigation, Aramco standards, risk management, and emergency response.
• Basic H2S, BOSIET/FOET, NEBOSH IGC/IDIP, BLS&FA, International Affiliation such as IOSH/IIRSM membership awareness on CSSP/HIP, CSM, Schedule-D (contract).
• HSE Professional Certification.

You will have the opportunity to work on challenging offshore and onshore projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad. Travel to multiple project locations if required.
