Job Purpose:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, monitor their health status, carry out the prescribed nursing procedures and treatments, and comply with quality standards, patient safety, and infection control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive patients, assess their health condition, and record vital signs.

• Provide daily nursing care according to the approved treatment plan.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments by the physician in accordance with medical instructions.

• Monitor the patient’s health condition and report any changes or abnormal symptoms.

• Prepare patients for medical examinations and procedures and follow up with them afterward.

• Perform and document nursing procedures according to the approved policies.

• Care for wounds and dressings and provide the necessary care according to the patient’s condition.

• Educate patients about medications, health instructions, and home care.

• Apply infection control, sterilization, and patient safety policies.

• Prepare nursing rooms, medical supplies, and ensure their availability.

• Document all observations and nursing procedures in the medical files.

• Coordinate with physicians and members of the medical team to ensure comprehensive care is provided.

• Handle emergency cases according to the approved protocols and procedures.

• Maintain the confidentiality of patients’ information and adhere to professional ethics.

• Perform any other tasks related to the job as directed by management.
