CACTUS seeks an Editor to leverage subject-matter expertise to refine research manuscripts, ensuring scientific accuracy and discipline-specific clarity while enhancing language quality. You will help researchers publish in prestigious journals worldwide.

Responsibilities include editing for clarity, accuracy, and journal guidelines, with flexibility on when you work and a steady monthly workload for consistent output.

Qualifications

• PhD required in Nuclear Medicine or Medical Physics (mandatory).
• Strong publication record with 5–10+ first-author papers (mandatory).
• Ability to critically assess study design, methodology, statistics, and interpretation.
• Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate scientific content and ensure discipline-specific accuracy.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit manuscripts to improve clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving authors' meaning.
• Ensure terminology, conventions, and arguments are accurate for the target audience.
• Improve presentation of complex results to enhance publication readiness.
