Job summary

Uptime Institute seeks a Network Infrastructure Instructor to share technical knowledge with the workforce of the future. You will deliver high-quality education programs that form The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework to a global audience.

A formal teaching qualification or prior experience in training would be advantageous; full training will be provided and you will undertake the train-the-trainer process for each course you teach.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data transmission over copper and fibre networks.
• Industry regulations, standards and best practices.
• Preferred experience delivering inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) solutions.
• Installation and termination of copper cables including UTP and FTP variants.
• Installation and termination of singlemode and multimode fibre optic cables.
• Testing and certification of copper and fibre optic cable systems.
• Project Management of network cable installation, design of network cable installations, construction and installation of network equipment cabinets, installation of containment systems, installation of smart network systems (CCTV, Security and Access, AV, WiFi etc), installation of network cabling in Data centres.
