Job summary

Saudi Aramco seeks an experienced Medium Voltage Switchgear Specialist to join the Technical Services Division/ High Voltage Equipment Unit. You will provide specialized technical support for designs, standards, commissioning, maintenance, and investigations to ensure safe and reliable power supply.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years in MV switchgear operation and maintenance, and deep knowledge of ANSI/IEC switchgear. Work location is in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in MV switchgear/ control gear operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of ANSI and IEC switchgear designs and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis on critical MV equipment failures.
• Review HV equipment maintenance programs to identify improvements for safe, reliable operation.
• Provide technical consultation on spare parts lists and aging switchgear assessments.
• Offer onsite technical support for critical equipment and review switchgear work packages.
• Ensure designs meet Saudi Aramco standards and align with international standards.
