Job summary

Avensys Consulting seeks an experienced MS Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical Lead to design, plan, and oversee migrations from on-premises to Azure cloud. You will work with stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to ensure data integrity and performance.

The role requires 8+ years in Dynamics 365, strong C#, X++, SQL, and Azure knowledge; 5+ years of ERP migrations; cross‑functional leadership and Agile/Waterfall experience.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations) implementations and support.
• Strong knowledge of on-premises Dynamics 365 and cloud-based Dynamics 365 environments.
• Proficiency in C#, X++, SQL Server, T-SQL, and .NET framework.
• Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules (GL, AP, AR, Inventory, SCM).
• Experience with Azure services (App Service, SQL Database, Data Factory, Integration Services).
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for cloud-based automation and extensions.
• 5+ years of hands‑on ERP migrations experience (on-premises to cloud).
• Proven data migration planning, execution, and validation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop migration strategy and roadmap from on-premises Dynamics 365 to cloud.
• Conduct current state assessments and gap analysis of existing environment.
• Design cloud architecture leveraging Azure and Dynamics 365 cloud capabilities.
• Create migration plans, timelines, risk mitigation, and rollback procedures.
• Lead technical design and implementation of cloud-based Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solution.
• Oversee data migration strategies, data transformation, cleansing, and validation.
• Evaluate cloud infrastructure components for scalability, performance, and DR.
• Ensure architecture adheres to security, governance, and compliance.
• Plan and execute data migration, data cleansing, reconciliation, and integrity checks.
• Develop migration scripts, tools, and automated processes.
• Manage cutover activities and post-migration validation.
• Design integration strategies for connecting cloud Dynamics 365 with on-premises and third-party systems.
• Configure middleware, APIs, and messaging solutions for data flow.
• Ensure interoperability across hybrid environments during transition.
• Monitor, optimize performance, and control costs; implement security and IAM practices.
• Document architectural decisions and migration procedures; provide knowledge transfer.

Seeking an experienced MS Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical Lead is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the migration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions from on premises to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining data integrity, business continuity, and system performance.

Contract : 12 months, (extendable)

Technical Expertise:
