Job summary

Halian is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong Mortgage and Home Finance background to bridge business needs and technology solutions in Saudi Arabia. You will gather requirements, map processes, and translate them into BRDs/FRDs, collaborating with product owners, PMs, solution architects, developers, and QA teams.

The role requires deep experience in mortgage lending, customer journeys, and compliance with Saudi banking regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Banking/Financial Services
• Experience with mortgage lending or home finance products
• Ability to gather and document complex business requirements
• Experience mapping end-to-end mortgage and loan origination processes
• Understanding of lending operations and credit workflows
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience supporting system implementations or digital transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across business and technology functions
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to understand processes, pain points, and future-state requirements
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, and use cases
• Analyse mortgage and home finance products, processes, and customer journeys for improvement
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams
• Support solution design discussions ensuring alignment with objectives and regulations
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test scenarios and defect management
• Monitor project deliverables to ensure timely, accurate requirements delivery
• Assist with change management and business transformation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and governance standards
