Job summary

SAPAC in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced MEP Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design activities for STP, SWRO, and DCP stations in the Gulf region, ensuring compliance, quality, and coordination with clients, consultants, and construction teams.

With 20+ years in MEP design and design management, you will drive BIM/MEP coordination, review technical deliverables, manage consultants, resolve clashes, and support value engineering, procurement, commissioning, and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 20+ years of MEP design/design management experience.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design and BIM/MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MEP design activities for STP, SWRO, and DCP stations.
• Review design drawings, calculations, specs, equipment selections, and submittals.
• Manage design consultants and ensure timely delivery and approvals.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and constructability challenges.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, international standards, and HSE requirements.

Job Title: MEP Design Manager - STP, SWRO & DCP Stations

Job Summary:

The MEP Design Manager will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary MEP design activities for major STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), SWRO (Seawater Reverse Osmosis), and DCP (District Cooling Plant) Stations in the Gulf area. The role ensures design compliance, technical quality, constructability, and successful coordination with clients, consultants, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage MEP design activities for STP, SWRO, DCP, utilities and infrastructure.
• Review design drawings, calculations, specifications, equipment selections, and technical submittals.
• Manage design consultants and ensure timely submission and approval of technical deliverables.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, technical issues, and constructability challenges.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, authority requirements, and HSE requirements.
• Support value engineering, procurement, commissioning, and construction teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil engineering.
• 20+ years of MEP design/design management experience, preferably in large-scale STP, SWRO, and DCP Stations, and MEP systems in the Gulf area.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary design coordination and BIM/MEP coordination.
• Strong leadership, technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
