Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation (MEI) Specialist with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of equipment and asset documentation, functional location setup, equipment classification, task assignment, and maintenance plan creation and upload within SAP systems.

Project Details

Location: Saudi Arabia (ready to relocate by 1st October 2025).

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Responsibilities
  • Document Gathering & Functional Location Setup — Collect all relevant equipment and asset documentation; Create and validate Functional Locations (FL) within the SAP system; Link collected equipment to their corresponding FLs.
  • Equipment Classification & Task Assignment — Classify equipment based on technical specifications and operational criticality; Assign appropriate maintenance tasks based on equipment classes; Review and validate task accuracy and completeness; Provide knowledge and support related to equipment types and maintenance strategies; Work closely with Engineering and Reliability teams to ensure data alignment.
  • Maintenance Plan Creation & Upload — Create new maintenance plans in SAP; Ensure plans are linked correctly to FLs and equipment classes; Work alongside SAP maintenance planning experts to guarantee proper plan uploads.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation roles within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
  • Proven expertise with SAP maintenance modules, especially in asset documentation, Functional Location setup, and maintenance planning.
  • Strong understanding of equipment classification, maintenance task assignments, and reliability engineering.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage large volumes of technical data.
Education Level

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
