Job summary

AstraZeneca in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Medical Representative for CVRM in the Central or Eastern Region. You will build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, promote approved indications and product benefits, and support local strategy development with the Sales Manager to grow territory sales.

Fresh graduates or candidates with 1 year in pharma are welcome; fluency in English and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Saudi National.
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science required.
  • Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Multinational experience preferred.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Engage primary care healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing.
  • Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory.
  • Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
  • Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.

ROLE SUMMARY

The successful applicant will be part of a new, exciting, and growing team.

You will positively influence customers’ prescribing behaviour to achieve sales targets. Develop territory and build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products on a given territory.

What you’ll do
  • Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
  • Engage primary care healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
  • Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory
  • Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
  • Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
  • Ensures excellent medical knowledge and promotional skills related to his/her disease area and product. He/she is primarily responsible for consulting with and providing clinical and technical information to healthcare professionals within the assigned territory and in compliance with AZ CO.
