Job summary

East Consulting Engineering Company (ECEC) is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to perform quality control on electrical work and progress, and conduct daily inspections per project specs and standards. The role involves overseeing material deliveries, coordinating with subcontractors, and certifying inspections at various site stages.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in a relevant discipline and at least 1 year of Mechanical Inspector experience, with strong communication and teamwork

• A minimum of 1 year of experience within a Mechanical Inspector environment.
• Strong influencing skills, and ability to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Quality control on electrical work/progress.
• Perform daily inspections based on project specifications and international standards.
• Overseeing the delivery of materials.
• Carry out inspection & certify all necessary inspections during various stages of site activities as per approved inspection and test plan.
• Initiate NCR, and SDR for any violation in implementation for non-conformance and discrepancy.
• Supervision of finishing works.
• Attend quality meetings and contribute to the resolution of quality issues that occurred.

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

Results this role is expected to accomplish

• 1. Quality control on electrical work/progress.
• 2. Perform daily inspections based on project specifications and international standards.
• 3. Heavy Structure Building single and multi-storied.
• 4. Check all items of MEP and HVAC work involved in buildings.
• 6. Develop, report, and maintain communication with all sub-contractors.
• 7. Verification of physical measurement of quantities for indirect labor and contractors’ interim bills.
• 8. Report any delay to the Engineer if appearing on the schedule.
• 9. Monitors the project to keep it on schedule.
• 10. Overseeing the delivery of materials.
• 11. Ensure regular and timely response to contractor RFI’s to witness and verify technical inspection and materials testing as required.
• 12. Regularly attend the Quality meeting and contribute to the resolution of quality issues that occurred.
• 13. Closely cooperate with PMT, HSE, Contactor and other departments in project implementation required.
• 14. Carry out inspection & certify all necessary inspections during various stages of site activities as per approved inspection and test plan.
• 15. Initiate NCR, and SDR for any violation in implementation for non-conformance and discrepancy.
• 16. Actively participate in the generation of a punch list.
• 17. Supervision of finishing works.
