Job summary

Arabian Pipe Coating Company is seeking a mechanical designer/drafter to develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies. You will translate concepts into precise drawings, ensuring di-mensioning, tolerances, and BOMs align with project specs and industry standards.

You will collaborate with mechanical engineers to refine designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness, and you will create documentation such as assembly instructions, maintenance manuals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Proven proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD and familiarity with industry standards.

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications
• Translate conceptual designs and engineering calculations into precise technical drawings incorporating all necessary dimensions tolerances material specifications and bill of materials
• Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to review and refine designs providing feedback on manufacturability assembly and cost-effectiveness
• Create and update engineering documentation including assembly instructions maintenance manuals and test procedures ensuring clarity and accuracy for end-users
• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation
• Holds a recognized certification in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, SolidWorks Certified Professional), validating advanced proficiency
