Job summary

A technical services company is seeking a Patriot Electro Mechanic/Hydraulic Technician to manage hydraulic maintenance and troubleshooting. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in hydraulic systems, a relevant engineering degree, and proficiency in English. This role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and requires a Saudi national.

Overview

Patriot Electro Mechanic/Hydraulic Technician

Responsibilities
  • Partakes in repair work of hydraulic components for RSADF systems that are covered under the currently authorized TAA.
  • Work location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
  • Provide technical as well as design recommendations to the directorate/section manager.
  • Participates in preventive maintenance procedures for all maintenance levels.
  • Troubleshooting, repair, testing and checkout of hydraulic equipment.
  • Maintain test consoles in the hydraulic shop.
  • Knowledge in operating and maintaining hydraulic parts consoles.
  • Participates in opening and closing work orders and on-the-job training (OJT) orders.
  • Apply approved engineering changes.
  • Enforce RSADF safety policies, procedures and standards.
  • Perform other associated duties as required by the section officer.
  • This position requires a Saudi national eligible to obtain any required export authorization.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Required Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, examination and checkout of hydraulic systems; or more (2) years of the minimum experience gained at Straight Support or higher maintenance level.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic systems maintenance.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Required Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an accredited university, or equivalent experience based on two (2) additional years of experience per one (1) year of college.
