Job summary

V2X is seeking a MD530 Quality Control Specialist in Saudi Arabia to ensure that all aircraft maintenance activities meet aviation standards and safety requirements. The role emphasizes inspections, documentation, and corrective actions to maintain mission readiness.

You will review logbooks, verify readiness data, and collaborate with maintenance teams and leadership to drive continuous improvement and timely rework resolution. Experience with AH-64/UH-60/MD-530 aircraft is desired.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance or related field.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Saudi QVP visa eligibility requirement to ensure eligibility for visa processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled, unscheduled and random inspections to ensure maintenance work meets aviation standards, technical publications and safety requirements.
• Verify aircraft logbooks, records and readiness data for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify maintenance discrepancies and issue corrective actions, tracking and validating them for timely resolution.
• Classify findings by severity (major, minor, or observation) and support root-cause analysis when needed.
• Review readiness and maintenance program records (Tool Control, TMDE, Oil Analysis) to meet all requirements.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports, discrepancy reports and corrective action documentation.
• Monitor maintenance records, component tracking and supply documentation for accuracy and proper routing.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled unscheduled and random inspections to ensure maintenance work meets aviation standards technical publications and safety requirements

• Conduct 100 inspections monthly inspections and observation-based quality checks
• Verify aircraft logbooks records and readiness data for accuracy and completeness
• Identify maintenance discrepancies and issue corrective actions
• Track and validate corrective actions to ensure timely resolution
• Classify findings by severity major minor or observation and support root-cause analysis when needed
• Review readiness and maintenance program records Tool Control Corrosion TMDE Oil Analysis etc to ensure all requirements are met
• Prepare and submit inspection reports discrepancy reports and corrective action documentation
• Monitor maintenance records component tracking and supply documentation to ensure accuracy and proper routing
• Verify that on-the-job training OJT for maintainers is properly executed and documented
• Collaborate with Production Control Technical Supply and Maintenance leadership to resolve quality issues
• Coordinate with the Government Flight Representative on maintenance test flight documentation requirements
• Provide guidance to maintenance teams to promote continuous improvement and reduce rework
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance Aerospace Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree accepted as equivalent
• As a condition of employment in Saudi Arabia all candidates must successfully complete the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development's Qualification Verification Program QVP to ensure eligibility for visa processing and employment authorization
• Certification: FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
• Experience: 5+ years of helicopter/rotary-wing maintenance experience, MD530 2+ years in a Quality Control, Technical Inspector, or similar inspection role
• Strong ability to interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation
• Ability to produce inspection reports and corrective action documents independently
• Must meet physical, deployment, and travel requirements for work in KSA
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
• Desired Experience: Experience on AH-64, UH-60, MD-530F, or AH-6i aircraft
• Experience supporting maintenance test flight documentation requirements
• Experience with aircraft readiness reporting
• What Success Looks Like: Aircraft consistently meet mission-capable readiness targets
• Corrective actions are completed on time and do not reoccur
• No repeated major quality findings
• Local maintainers show improved performance and reduced rework over time
