You will be responsible for inspecting and documenting all construction materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least 7 years of experience, preferably in road and infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction materials and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Qualifications

Prior experience with PMC, consultancy, or large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.

Inspect, verify, and document all construction materials delivered to the site
Ensure materials comply with approved specifications, standards, and project requirements
Monitor material handling, storage, and preservation on-site to prevent damage or deterioration
Review material submittals, certificates, and test reports submitted by contractors
Conduct sampling and testing of materials (e.g., concrete, asphalt, aggregates, steel) in coordination with the laboratory
Report non-compliance or defective materials and coordinate corrective actions with contractors
Maintain an organized record of inspections, approvals, and material certificates
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and tracking of materials used in the project
Coordinate with design, planning, and site teams to resolve material-related issues
Support quality assurance and control procedures for the project
Prepare and submit daily/weekly material inspection reports to PMC management
Participate in client inspections and audits regarding material compliance
Verify contractors follow proper testing, mixing, and handling procedures
