Mason

We are currently hiring for the position of Mason in our construction company located in the beautiful city of Medina. As a Mason, you will be responsible for laying and repairing brick, stone, and other similar materials to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, and other structures. This is a physically demanding job that requires strength and stamina.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to determine materials required and layout of the structure
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil and chalk
• Cut or break bricks as needed to fit around windows and doors
• Lay out patterns or foundations using stakes, measuring devices or straightedges
• Spread mortar over surface with trowel and apply brick or stones according to plans
• Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob, level or square
• Remove excess mortar with trowels and hand tools

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mason is preferred but not required
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with various tools such as trowels, chisels, levels etc.
• Attention to detail for precise measurements and alignment of structures

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month along with benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.

Location
