Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement Management — Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on sourcing technology-related goods and services in support of Qiddiya’s operational goals. Lead the negotiation process with suppliers to achieve favorable contract conditions and pricing. Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities in technology procurement. Enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
- Vendor Relationship Management — Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the performance aligns with Qiddiya’s standards. Manage assessments of vendor performance and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure objectives are met. Facilitate communication between technical teams and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and support.
- Compliance and Reporting — Ensure all procurement activities adhere to organization policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Prepare comprehensive reports that detail procurement expenditures, vendor performance, and achievement against targets. Assist in budget management by monitoring procurement spend and forecasting needs based on operational requirements.
Qualifications
- At least 7-10 years of experience in technology procurement, with significant exposure to supply chain management and contract negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional accreditation (CIPS or equivalent) is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of technology products and the procurement market.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and market research tools.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
- Experience working in the Gulf region, with a good understanding of the local business practices and supplier landscape is preferred.
