Manager - Staff Village Mobility Planning and Operations
JOB PURPOSE
The Manager of Staff Village Mobility Planning and Operations oversees transportation services within the AMAALA Staff Village (ASV). This role involves planning, coordinating, and ensuring the seamless operation of transport services connecting ASV residents to their workplaces and within the village. The manager ensures that 24/7 transit buses and buggies meet safety, efficiency, and service quality standards, providing strategic leadership to address operational challenges and improve services for staff residents.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Management of Mobility Services
- Manage daily transport operations within the Staff Village, ensuring timely and efficient services.
- Coordinate transport schedules for buses and buggies to ensure coverage and punctuality.
- Collaborate with senior management to resolve operational issues such as roadblocks, weather disruptions, or incidents.
- Service Level Achievement
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational standards.
- Monitor performance regularly and address issues promptly to maintain service quality.
- Leadership & Team Supervision
- Lead and supervise mobility staff, including drivers and support personnel.
- Ensure staff are trained, follow safety protocols, and uphold customer service standards.
- Address staffing and scheduling issues as needed.
- Customer Service & Issue Resolution
- Serve as the primary contact for customer complaints related to mobility services.
- Resolve issues swiftly to minimize disruptions.
- Promote a customer-focused service culture.
- Operational Data & Reporting
- Generate performance reports and analyze data to forecast fleet needs and optimize resources.
- Work with senior management to adjust schedules, routes, and fleet capacity.
- Compliance and Safety Monitoring
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct routine audits and safety checks.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures.
- Strategic Planning and Service Improvements
- Lead initiatives to enhance mobility services through new systems or technologies.
- Align transport services with operational goals and project requirements.
- Identify risks and develop proactive solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in transport or mobility operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management abilities.
- Experience handling sensitive information with maturity and confidentiality.
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
