Responsibilities

  • Act as PMC focal point for all Monitoring, Automation, and Control system activities across the project lifecycle.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables related to ICSS, DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, F&G, Instrumentation, and telecommunications systems.
  • Monitor EPC Contractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and international standards.
  • Coordinate interfaces between Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, Cybersecurity, and Operations disciplines.
  • Review system architecture, control philosophies, cause & effect matrices, logic diagrams, network configurations, and software applications.
  • Evaluate and approve vendor documents, technical submittals, material requisitions, and package vendor designs.
  • Participate in HAZOP, SIL assessments, FAT, SAT, IFAT, and integrated system testing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and digital asset management requirements.
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing.
  • Identify project risks, technical issues, and opportunities for optimization and mitigate measures.
  • Verify contractor adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
  • Support project digitalization initiatives, including real-time monitoring, data integration, predictive analytics, and smart asset solutions.
  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure system operability and maintainability.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and management presentations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in Automation, Control Systems, Cybersecurity, or Digitalization are advantageous.
  • Membership in recognized engineering institutions is preferred.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, LNG, or offshore projects.
  • Minimum 5 years in a PMC, EPC, or Owner's Engineer role.
  • Proven experience in automation and control system design, implementation, and commissioning.
  • Experience with major control systems such as Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Rockwell Automation.
  • Experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction Support, and Commissioning phases.
