Job summary

The Red Sea Development Company’s RSSE unit invites applications for an Assistant Boat Captain. This site-based role supports safe, efficient operation of dive center vessels, working with the Boat Captain to uphold safety, guest experience, and vessel readiness.

Responsibilities include supporting navigation, vessel preparation, dive logistics, daily logs, safety drills, and environmental compliance in a luxury marine tourism setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant marine or boating experience.
• Basic knowledge of vessel operations and safety procedures.
• Deckhand experience preferred.
• Familiarity with diving operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Boat Captain in safe navigation and operation of dive center vessels.
• Assist with daily vessel preparation and safety compliance.
• Maintain vessel cleanliness and organization.
• Support dive center operations and equipment loading.
• Help with mooring, docking, and vessel handling.
