Job summary

El Seif Operation and Maintenance seeks an experienced Low Voltage Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building facilities and low-voltage systems below 500V. You will work on wiring networks, lighting, distribution panels, and testing equipment within O&M environments.

The role requires practical knowledge of electrical drawings, safety procedures, and the ability to read faults and follow technical instructions.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, certificate, or recognized vocational qualification in electricity or a related discipline.
• Practical knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and electrical accessories.
• Experience in building facilities, operations and maintenance, or facility management projects.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and identify electrical faults.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work under supervision.
• Willingness to complete a technical or electrical trade test.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain low-voltage electrical wiring networks.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of lighting fixtures and electrical accessories.
• Identify electrical faults and complete the required corrective maintenance.
• Inspect electrical wiring, connections, panels, and equipment for safety and operational condition.
• Use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and correctly.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities as assigned.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment.
• Report identified faults, safety concerns, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Maintain punctuality, discipline, and compliance with site procedures.
