AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field is required.
• 8–12 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or SCM.
• Experience leading end-to-end logistics in industrial or infrastructure environments.
• Proven knowledge of inventory management, transportation planning, and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to support project requirements.
• Manage transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory operations.
• Plan and monitor movement of goods to ensure timely delivery.
• Optimize processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and 3PLs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and safety standards.

Overview

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials. The role manages transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and supply chain activities while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and customer requirements. The Logistics Manager drives operational excellence, cost optimization, and continuous improvement to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

Your role

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to support organizational and project requirements.


• Manage transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory operations.


• Plan and monitor the movement of goods, materials, and equipment to ensure timely delivery.


• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.


• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and third-party logistics providers.


• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management and reporting.


• Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.


• Analyze logistics performance metrics and prepare operational reports for management review.


• Manage logistics budgets, contracts, and vendor performance to achieve cost-effective solutions.


• Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation, storage, and supply chain disruptions.


• Lead, mentor, and develop logistics and warehouse teams to achieve operational objectives.


• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, project, and operations teams to support business needs.


• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across logistics operations.


• Resolve logistics issues, delays, and customer service concerns in a timely manner.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain management.


• Proven experience managing end-to-end logistics operations in industrial, manufacturing, construction, retail, or infrastructure environments.


• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, transportation planning, and warehouse operations.


• Familiarity with customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international shipping requirements.


• Experience working with ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and logistics software.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


• Proven ability to manage logistics budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.


• Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.


• Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.


• Professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, CPL, or equivalent are desirable.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
