Job summary

Eram Talent seeks a dedicated Liaisonman for Offshore operations to act as the primary interface among the Operator’s drilling/workover team, the drilling contractor, and third-party service providers. The role ensures safe, efficient operations in compliance with standards and regulations.

The candidate will coordinate day-to-day activities, supervise drilling/workover tasks, and ensure readiness of equipment and personnel while maintaining clear communication with onshore management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of oilfield experience, including drilling and workover operations.
• Offshore experience with major operators or drilling contractors is mandatory.
• IWCF/IADC Well Control Certification preferred, Supervisor level.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural offshore environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point between the Operator and Drilling Contractor during offshore operations.
• Coordinate day-to-day drilling and workover activities to align with programs and schedules.
• Supervise drilling, completion, and workover activities to follow the approved work program.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and operational procedures are followed at all times.
• Communicate updates and performance reports to onshore drilling management.
• Verify contractor and third-party reports, tickets, and timesheets.
• Participate in daily operations meetings and contribute to planning discussions.
• Ensure equipment, materials, and personnel are available and ready for operations.
• Support incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with logistics, marine, and procurement teams for mobilization/demobilization.

Eram Talent is looking for a dedicated Liaisonman for Offshore operations to be a part of our esteemed client's team. The Liaisonman acts as the primary interface between the Operator’s drilling/workover team, the drilling contractor, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth coordination and execution of offshore drilling and workover operations. The role ensures all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point between the Operator and Drilling Contractor during offshore operations.
• Coordinate day-to-day drilling and workover activities to ensure alignment with operational programs and schedules.
• Supervise and monitor drilling, completion, and workover operations to ensure adherence to the approved work program.
• Ensure that safety, environmental, and operational procedures are strictly followed at all times.
• Communicate operational updates, challenges, and performance reports to the onshore drilling management team.
• Verify and endorse contractor and third-party service company daily reports, job tickets, and timesheets.
• Participate in daily operations meetings and contribute to planning and problem-solving discussions.
• Ensure the availability and readiness of equipment, materials, and personnel for planned operations.
• Support incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with logistics, marine, and procurement teams for the timely mobilization/demobilization of personnel and equipment.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore operations or liaison roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of oilfield experience, including:
• Drilling projects (jack-up / semi-sub / land rigs) OR Workover operations (completion, intervention, and well servicing).
• Previous offshore experience with major operators or drilling contractors is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of well control, drilling fluids, downhole tools, completions, and well servicing operations.
• Valid offshore survival and medical certificates (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, OGUK).
• IWCF / IADC Well Control Certification (Supervisor level preferred).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural offshore environment.
