Job summary

International Maritime Industries is seeking a Production Engineer, Welding to coordinate and support all welding and construction activities for new rig builds. The role includes work pack preparation, daily job planning, and cross-departmental interfacing to ensure safe and timely project completion.

Responsibilities include supervising welding teams, assisting with PQR/WQT, ensuring heat treatment requirements, and managing consumables, drawings, and three-week look-ahead schedules to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• 3G, 4G, and 6G certified (preferred).
• Language: English

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support welding and construction activities for new rig builds.
• Supervise and lead welding workers and foremen to ensure compliance with specs and standards.
• Assist in PQR and WQT processes with stakeholders.
• Ensure pre and post heating as required by material thickness and grade.
• Carry out inspections and monitor welding and rectification work.
• Maintain inventory of consumables at required levels.
• Study drawings and plan welding sequence with KPI plans.
• Facilitate weekly schedule coordination meetings with subcontractors.
