Job summary

ESOL Global in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Production Scheduling System Engineer to lead end-to-end engineering implementation, system integration workflows, and operational intelligence across large oil & gas and manufacturing facilities.

You will collaborate with control systems engineers, software developers, and IT executives to drive digital transformation, ensure safety and security, and deliver measurable operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering, or CS.
• 6 to 10+ years of experience in industrial automation, digital plant engineering, MES, or oil & gas IT/OT.
• Strong proficiency with engineering systems and plant software architectures.
• Experience delivering enterprise solutions and IT/OT systems integration.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain advanced industrial systems and software for digital plant ops.
• Lead data integration and performance tuning across enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with plant automation, reliability, scheduling, and infrastructure teams.
• Define functional requirements, technical specs, and system roadmaps for complex process industries.
• Coordinate with plant operators, automation vendors, IT/OT, and leadership.
• Oversee SAT/UAT, training, and post-implementation support.
• Ensure safety, cybersecurity, and governance standards.
